By doing this they are trying to inform the spiders that the content they published few months or years back holds relevant even today, and they should be given their due for publishing such evergreen and useful content on their blog. Home page is undoubtedly the most important and sensitive pages to promote; most obvious one too that bloggers are found to promote by default. (iii) When you leave comments on various blogs don’t let same keywords or phrases run on the entire web. Your home page targets the most difficult or competitive keywords so bloggers have to understand that it may take time for the home page to show up in searches. Besides the above mentioned ways, an often ignored and overlooked effective way of creating back links is by thanking people who commented on your blog, link building is relationship building in the language of internet and thanking is the best way to build long term links and relations with people in your niche.
